These days Canada is becoming a more desirable destination for students from India. One of my colleagues is having two sons. Both of them went to Canada for the engineering UG and PG. Both of them are there only as on date.

As a first step, he contacted a well-known foreign study consultant in Hyderabad. They got the best guidance. The following are the steps they followed.

1. They surveyed on the Internet to know the colleges and they made a short list of such colleges. Then they took the help of the consultant and finalised two

2. They visited the websites of these two universities and went through the various courses offered by the university and checked. They finalised the subject.

3. Once they finalised the course, they went through the details of the courses and the eligibility criteria. They made sure that they are meeting the requirement. They all also checked the documents required for application and uploaded all such documents and kept them ready on their Desktop. Then they applied online using the application format given on the website. They also confirmed that their IELTS certificate is valid for those universities.

4. They applied for admission as per the procedure laid down. Throughout this process, the consultants helped them.

5. After getting the acceptance letter from the university, they applied for the study permit.

6. They obtained their study permit and planned their travel.

Presently both of them are in Canada pursuing their studies. You can also follow the above procedure and apply for a seat in Canada.

I can tell you about my sister's recent experience studying in the UK. It's crucial to remember that the type of visa you need depends on your nationality and the length of your course. In order for my sister, who is from the United States, to study in the United Kingdom, she had to apply for a Tier 4 student visa.
She had to submit evidence of her admittance to a UK university, evidence of financial support, and a current passport in order to apply for the visa. Additionally, she had to fill out an online application and show up at a scheduled meeting at the UK embassy in her country to supply biometric data (fingerprints and a photo). Fortunately, my sister was able to complete the lengthy visa process in time for the beginning of her course.

In terms of education, UK institutions normally need applicants to have finished secondary education in their native country, which is equal to the A-levels in the UK. My sister applied to a master's programme in the UK after completing her undergraduate studies in the US.

She had gone through a similar admissions procedure when applying to US universities. She was required to submit transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement outlining her goals for the programme and her reasons for wanting to study in the UK. Since English is the major language of instruction in UK universities, she was also required to complete an English language competency test.

She was prepared to start her studies as soon as she was admitted into the programme and her visa was arranged. She discovered that the UK's educational system was of the highest calibre, with skilled lecturers and interesting schoolwork. She also valued the diversity of the student body, which included peers from other countries.

She discovered that her degree from a UK university was highly valued by employers in the US and worldwide in terms of job chances. Throughout her programme, she also had the chance to take part in internships and networking activities, which aided her in developing relationships and gaining real-world experience in her area.
