The best way to prepare for any exam is to first go through the syllabus and understand all the key areas that are asked, and the same goes for NDA too. As this exam is conducted by UPSC, one needs to go through the kind of questions being asked by the organisation in the last few years. Collect all the previous year's question papers.

Then prepare a proper timetable to cover all the topics.

First, try to finish all the topics the candidate has recently studied in school, for example -Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, as they will be freshly embedded in the mind of the candidate.

Secondly, try to read the newspaper daily so that you have good reading habits, vocabulary, and comprehension. This will not only help in the English section but also in the current affairs section.

Finish all the other aspects of the syllabus, like geography, History, Polity, Defence, international relations, Economics etc. and also try to relate them with current affairs.

Before taking the exam, try to give as many mocks as possible and evaluate them as well, and try to improve your mistakes.

If time permits, also see last year's question papers setup by UPSC for CDS, CAPF and Civil Services and try to understand the type of questions that gets repeated from these paper in the exam of NDA.
