Veterinary Science Diploma Courses in India - Eligibility, Duration, Fees

Eligibility Criteria
1. For a Diploma in animal husbandry, the candidate must have passed the 12th exam from a recognized board. 2. The candidate must have studied Biology or Agriculture/Physics/Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation is given to the students of the reserved category.
Duration of the course
The Diploma in animal husbandry is a two or three-year diploma course. It is a full-time course that focuses on giving students knowledge and training in animal care and breeding.
Fee structure
The average fee for a Diploma in animal husbandry is between INR 1,500 and 35,000. The fee varies from college to college.
Admission Procedure
Admission to this course will be based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination i.e. Class 12 exams. For admission into this course, candidates have to register, create a profile, log in and start the application process which is to fill up the online application form with qualifications, past educational achievements, internships and projects done, etc. Documents like mark sheets, the photo, the signature and transfer certificates must be scanned and uploaded online to the portal. All documents must be in a specific format and size. The application fee has to be paid using online payment methods. Colleges will take two weeks to process applications. If a candidate meets the cut-offs and all other criteria then an offer letter for admission is released.
