VIT Vellore or MIT Manipal - which is more expensive?

Both Manipal and VIT charge a loot. Both are way too expensive. I suggest it's better if you join govt colleges. Because the total fee for all years will be within 4–5 lac in these colleges. But in private engineering colleges you pay around 20–25 lakhs for the total course. Might be more too
According to me MIT is far more better than VIT because
MIT has no management quota.
VIT has a very strict environment whereas MIT is far more open minded.
MIT has a much better rank than VIT.
MIT has a better location than VIT

Both VIT Vellore and MIT Manipal are reputed institutes in India. Both are expensive as they are private institutes. Both have good campus infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities including sports, hostels, gyms, classrooms, and Wi-Fi. Both institutions have their entrance exams for admission into various courses.
In the case of admission, MIT Manipal has a transparent admission process whereas, VIT has a different system that comprises Categories 1-5, category 1 being meritorious and Category 5 being the underperforming candidate.
Fee Structure: MIT has a higher fee structure than VIT Vellore.
Placements: MIT Manipal has good placement records than VIT Vellore.MIT is having friendly environment but VIT has a very restrictive environment.
Ultimately, the decision of which one to choose should depend on your priorities and preferences. In my view, MIT Manipal is better than VIT Vellore.
