What are the benefits of imparting education in Hindi language in India?

I recently had a talk with a friend who was quite passionate about the concept of teaching education in Hindi in India. She shared her personal experience with me and described how it can have a variety of benefits.
My friend grew up in a small Haryana village where Hindi was the primary language spoken by her family and community. When she first attended school, she struggled to adjust to the largely English medium of instruction. She struggled to understand and follow the teachings provided in class, which frequently resulted in low self-esteem and a lack of confidence.
Everything changed when she transferred to a new school that had implemented Hindi as a medium of instruction. My friend instantly felt more at ease and confident. She was able to better understand the teachings, participate more actively in class, and perform better on her exams.

I totally disagree with the question and want to state that there are no benefits but disadvantages in imparting education in Hindi. The world is consecutively becoming smaller with the dawn of faster transportation and of course, the internet. In such a fast and small world, imparting education in Hindi may divide and disconnect us from being part of this larger community It is as if we are knowingly derogating our own chances. Of course, here I'm not pointing my finger at just Hindi, any community that is overtly implementing their language experiences a certain disconnect and this can churn up a political movement against anyone who opposes them. At the end of the day, we cannot cut off our languages, they are a core part of our culture. All I want to suggest is to attain balance in the utility of languages. We should give more importance to English with the same effort we are to give it to Hindi. "We must belong but not surrender" is a good way to put the essence of what I meant in a single sentence.
