I'm going to explain the BIT Mesra admissions process based on my friend's personal experience.
He had to first sign up for the online application form on the BIT Mesra website. Name, address, email, phone number, and academic qualifications were required on the application form, along with other personal and professional information.
He had to pay the application cost using a debit or credit card online after submitting the application. For candidates in the general and OBC categories, the application cost was Rs. 2500 for candidates in the SC/ST category, it was Rs. 1500.
He then had to upload scanned copies of all the required paperwork, including mark sheets, a passport-size photo, their signature, and, if applicable, a category certificate.
He had to wait for the publication of the merit list after finishing the online application process. The candidate's performance in the pertinent entrance test, such as JEE Main, GATE, or CAT, as well as their performance in the qualification exam, were taken into account when determining their place on the merit list.
He was invited to the counselling process as soon as his name appeared on the merit list.
