Basic Pay INR 70900/- Level 10 Cell Number 8 for 0-1 years experience after Ph.D.

Other than basic pay, DA, HRA (in case of Quarter is not allotted by the Institute), and Transportation Allowance are to be paid as per norms and the institute.

Recently I have seen an online notification from IIT, Hyderabad issued in the month of March last year for some faculty positions. In that advertisement, the pay scales for faculty were mentioned. I am giving below those details.
1. The salary structure will be as per the guidelines given by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Government of India.
2. The salary will have Basic Pay, DA (Dearness Allowance), (TA) Transport Allowance and HRA (House Residence Allowance).
3. The basic pay for an Assistant Professor Grade II at the entry-level/- will be Rs. 98200/-. The gross salary will be Rs. 138074/- + HRA as per the rules of the institute. The salaries given are per month
4. The basic salary for an Associate Professor at the entry level will be Rs. 139600/- per month and the gross salary will be Rs. 192308/- per month + HRA as per the rules of the institute.
5. The basic salary for a Professor at the entry level will be Rs. 159100/- per month and the gross salary will be Rs.192308/- per month + HRA as per the rules of the institute.
