When I applied for admission to BITS Pilani, I was aware that it was a competitive process and that I needed to do all possible to improve my prospects. I spent months studying the material, practising past papers, and taking mock examinations in preparation for the BITSAT exam. I also made an effort to improve my academic performance in high school, notably in Science and Math.
Yet, knowing that academic excellence alone would not suffice, I attempted to participate in extracurricular activities that highlighted my interests and skills. I participated in sports and volunteered at a local non-profit, which I thought demonstrated my well-rounded personality.
Finally, my efforts were rewarded, and I got admitted to BITS Pilani. In retrospect, I understood that there was no single easy approach to gaining admission, but by focusing on several parts of my application, I was able to create a solid case for my selection.

I think the only way to admission to BITS is through hard work and smart work. You have to work hard and at the same time, your efforts should be smart also. If you start working early while you are in your +2 and start working out you may have a better chance if you start concentrating more on science and mathematics. You talk to your friends who are studying there and also see the old papers available. Try to solve old BITSAT papers and get all your doubts clarified. Then plan to write some mock tests so that you will understand how to manage time while answering the test paper. In addition to the above if you have any reservation category chance try to apply in that category. Then your cut-off mark may vary and you may get a seat easily.
If you want to join BITS without facing any written test. You have to opt for BITS, Dubai. The seats in Dubai Campus are allotted purely based on the merit of the student. There is no separate admission test. My friend's son is doing 2nd year of engineering there. He did not write any entrance tests. You have to apply online, You will find many Indian students there.
A candidate with a minimum of 60% marks is eligible to apply.
