The usual fees for the students at BITS Pilani irrespective of the campus, who get admission through BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test), is around 7 lakh per annum or even more. The following is the breakdown of the fee structure for students who joined during the academic year 2022-23.
Besides these, there are various other expenses like caution deposit, student union fund, student aid fund, and so on. Depending on the campus, the fees may vary a bit.
So it is very much apparent, if the normal fees, where the admission is through BITSAT, are so high, then the fee for the management seats will be much higher. In fact, one of my friends, who was recently enquiring about the admission of his daughter at BITS Pilani through management quota came to know that the asking rate for such seats is no less than Rs 22 lakh. This is in addition to the fee structure given above to be paid by every student.
It is also to be kept in mind that the fee structure revises every year. For example, the semester tuition fee for the coming year, 2023-24, will be Rs 2,43,000, Rs 2,55,000 the next year, and so on. So for any 4-year degree program at BITS Pilani through management quota will come around Rs 50 lakh or more for the entire duration of the course.
