Author: Raveena Madhubalan Post Date: 26 Apr 2023 If you're looking to land the highest possible salary package in campus recruitment in 2023, then look no further than B Tech! This degree provides an impressive array of career opportunities, and employers are known to offer highly competitive packages to those with the know-how.
I'm speaking from experience, of course! When I graduated with a B Tech degree in 2023, I landed a salary package that was among the highest out of all my classmates. I was able to negotiate for a higher starting salary than many of my peers and ended up with a role that provided me with a great deal of growth potential.
What made the difference for me was having a strong foundation in my coursework. I kept up with the latest trends and technologies and had acquired plenty of practical experience throughout my studies. I was also able to demonstrate my technical and problem-solving skills in the interview process and showcase plenty of relevant examples.
All of this gave me an advantage and enabled me to secure a salary package that was amongst the higher ones out there. So if you're aiming for a top-tier salary package in 2023, consider investing some extra time into your studies and ensure that you are knowledgeable and confident in the topics you are discussing. Having the right skills and knowledge is the key to landing the job and salary package of your dreams!
Author: Venkiteswaran Post Date: 16 Apr 2023 I read a news report that NIT Harimpur student was offered 52 lakh per annum in 2023 placement. The highest offer in IIT Kanpur is reported as Rs 2 to 3 crores per annum. In IIT Guwahati it was 1.2 crores. Graphic Era university student got Rs 85 lakhs offer as highest. Times of India had reported that this year it touched Rs 62 Lakhs.
But at the same time one should also be aware that not every one get such high offers and most freshers have come in the average bands, which can be anywhere between 5 to 8 lakhs and some small percentage getting above to 15 lakhs CTC. My interaction with freshers who got campus recruitment also supports this.
A study data I read says that, last year only a total of 960 graduates or just 5.5 per cent of the total students of all IITs got a package of above 50 lakhs. The same data says that 54 per cent of the highest tier IITs and 50 per cent of the second tier IITs get a package CTC of Rs10-16 lakhs per annum. There are also news report that even non-IITians get very high offer. But they are just rare and exceptional. A Times of India news in 2019 said that "A final year engineering student from Mumbai has created a stir by bagging an Rs 1.2 crore job offer from Google's London office. The reason why the job offer has caught such wide attention was that the offer has not been made at an IIT placement round " So in my opinion, one need not go behind the minuscule numbers of high pay offers but assess about a middle path and average offers depending on the branch, institution and offering company.
The highs and peaks can be a beacon light to inspire and motivate a student to aim to achieve the best. But that starts from the day one of joining the course with proper and focused relevant hard work and extra and job oriented knowledge and employability. The student should be a unique potential in the evaluation of the recruiters.
