The maximum age limit for general category candidates to appear in the SSC CGL examination is 32 years as of the closing date of the application.
However, there are certain age relaxations available for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The age relaxations are as follows:
Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates: 3 years
Persons with disabilities (PwD): 10 years for blindness, 9 years for low vision, 5 years for hearing impairment, and 4 years for locomotor disability
