Author: Samuel Unni Post Date: 17 Apr 2023 I'll explain my sister's admissions experience at BITS Pilani. BITS Pilani was one of my sister's top options when it came to pursuing her undergraduate studies at a reputable engineering school in India.
The BITSAT (BITS Admission Test) exam was the initial step in the admissions process at BITS Pilani. It is an online test that gauges a student's proficiency in English, mathematics, physics, and chemistry. My sister had to submit an online application for the exam, fill out personal and academic information, upload a current photo, and pay the exam money.
She had to wait for the results to be announced after successfully taking the BITSAT exam. She performed well on the exam and was chosen for the counselling round, which was the next step. Students are assigned seats in BITS Pilani's multiple-round counselling procedure based on their BITSAT scores and choices.
She was required to physically attend the on-campus counselling session. She was required to carry all of her original documentation, including her transcripts, diplomas, and proof of identity. The counselling procedure went very smoothly, and my sister was given a seat in the branch she wanted.
She had to pay the entry costs to secure her seat after receiving the notice regarding her seat allotment. She also had to provide all the necessary paperwork, including a proof of address, a caste certificate (if applicable), and a certification of her physical fitness.
For the most part, my sister's entrance procedure at BITS Pilani was simple and painless. The college's website and admissions staff provided her with all the advice she needed.
Author: Drupad Madhavan Post Date: 20 Apr 2023 BITS Pilani is a well-known and prestigious institution. I recall applying to BITS for my undergraduate course in English Literature. Even though I was unable to join BITS Pilani, I heard great news about it, especially from some of my friends who joined there for Engineering courses.
As I recall the procedure for admissions initiated with applying for their official entrance exam - BITSAT through their official university website. BITSAT- Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is a 3-hour Computer-based MCQ exam. Its syllabus consists of Physics, Chemistry, English, Logical Reasoning, Maths and Biology.
I never wrote the exam, but some of my friends who wrote it praised it for their well-structured questions. I had already gotten into Shiv Nadar and was happy with my choice.
After the results are declared, you shall receive an offer letter if you have been selected. All the best! I hope you get into BITS Pilani!
