Conclusion
Generally, there is a view or grievance statement from the industry or employers, that the freshers coming out even from professional colleges are not immediately employable. More students taking up sector-specific or industry-specific vocational courses can remedy this problem. This author would state that, based on first-hand experience, in the same job category, at least in the early months, a diploma holder or an ITI/ITC -product candidate has more practical and hands-on experience. Hence the industry prefers such people as they can be put on the job right away without much induction training.
Though this write-up gives the available choices theoretically, as most students take up job-oriented vocational courses to get a job easily and early, the practical suggestion for the Topic question is to go for a job and plan career growth in the same vocational field.
