When does DASA 2024 admission process starts?

My son just finished Plus 2 and is now planning to join B Tech course in India. He is a citizen of USA and is eligible to apply in the NITs through the DASA scheme (Direct Admission to Students Abroad). I have been following the DASA admissions for my son since last few months and would be glad to share the details I collected.
DASA just announced the schedule for DASA 2024 admission process. See the schedule below:
Registration: June 10, 2024 (Mon) to June 19, 2024 (Wed) 11:59 PM
Submission: June 21, 2024 (Fri) 11.59 PM
Withdrawal of DASA application: June 25, 2024 (Tue) 05.00 PM (for withdrawal)
Keep in mind that once the DASA 2024 admission process starts, there are only 10 days to submit the application and another 2 days to submit all the forms. Don't miss these dates.
The online registration for DASA UG 2024 will start on June 10th on the official website of DASA. Keep an eye on the official website for DASA 2024 here - https://dasanit.org/dasa2024/
This year, the coordination for DASA UG will be handled by NIT Raipur. The application form will be available online for those participating in the counseling process. Candidates should ensure they meet the DASA UG 2024 eligibility criteria before applying. The application form can be accessed and filled out on the website dasanit.org.
DASA 2024 admission selection process: The DASA officials will announce the DASA rank (based on the JEE Main rank declared by NTA) only for students who have completed and submitted their online registration for DASA-2024.
The application process includes registration, entering details, uploading a photo and signature, and paying the application fee. The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking, or SWIFT transfer.
How to Fill the DASA UG Application Form 2024
Candidates who wish to apply can follow the complete application process below:

- Visit the official website or click on the link provided on this page.
- Click on the 'Create my account' button for new registration.
- Fill in your email ID and username.
- Create a password.
- After successful registration, proceed to the next step.
Fill the DASA Application Form 2024
* Enter the applicant's name.
* Provide the date of birth.
* Specify gender (male/female).
* Mention citizenship.
* Fill in parent/guardian details.
* Enter class 10 and class 12 details such as board name, marks obtained, etc.
* Provide contact details outside India.
* Provide contact details in India.
* Enter bank account details.
* Upload Photograph and Signature
* Candidates should upload their photo and signature in the prescribed format.

DASA Rank Declaration
Date of declaration of DASA 2024 Rank: June 27, 2024 (Thu)
The DASA office will declare the DASA rank (based on JEE Main rank declared by NTA) for only those students who have filled out AND finally submitted their online registration form for DASA 2024. Please visit the DASA website to see the DASA rank.
Dasa 2024 Mock Allotment date: June 29, 2024 (Sat)
First round of seat allotment for DASA 2024: July 05, 2024 (Fri) 05.00 PM

What is DASA
