Author: Umesh Post Date: 25 Apr 2023 Several online agencies offer free courses about various subjects and topics to students and professionals. Most of these courses are basic and provide good information on that particular subject. For advanced and highly professional courses, these online sites will be having some fee package that varies from course to course.
Today some of the top agencies offering these courses are IGNOU, Coursera, NPTEL, Udemy, SWAYAM, edX, FutureLearn, Google, Skillshare, Great Learning, Udacity, etc.
I have visited some of these sites for my learning in some select subjects and what I observed is as under. For courses in Data Science, Python, and related topics Coursera is a good online source. For coding practices, digital marketing, etc I found that the courses offered by Google Digital Garage are quite exciting and the tests after each chapter help us in learning the subject properly.
Going further, for commerce and management courses, edX would be a good choice. For human resources and corporate finance, I would suggest the SWAYAM portal.
A student has to visit some of these sites and should have a feel of the methodology adopted by the site for the desired course before enrolling for it.
