Author: Sheo Shankar Jha Post Date: 17 Apr 2023 There are 116 Engineering colleges in West Bengal including 67 private Engineering Colleges accepting WBJEE Examination for the inclusion of aspirants in Engineering Colleges through their admission process. The said examination would start in this year on 30 th April as announced by the Examination Board.
The following are the top five Engineering Colleges under the umbrella of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for continuation of their engineering courses both for undergraduate and post graduate courses for achieving their technical skills.
1) Jadavpur University- It was established in 1955 and has attained its prominence imparting numerous courses in the streams of Arts, Science, Engineering & Technology for the benefits of the aspirants at the affordable fee - structure formulated by the university. The aspirants can pursue both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various streams such as Architecture, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, IT, Food Technology etc depending upon their inclinations and subjects to the clearance of the said test. In that way, their learning process would be quite comfortable. 3) Institute Of Engineering & Management ( IEM) - It was initiated in the year 1869 and is known for their best skills to provide technical educations in the areas of different streams such as Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical etc in both undergraduate and post graduate levels of Engineering courses. This is affiliated with Maulana Abdul Kalam University and has been graded as A in terms of ranking accredited by NAAC. 4) Kalyani Government College Nadia - This college was established in 1955 and is equipped with both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering in the areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Science etc under the guidance of distinguished professors taking care of the aspirants to wipe out their confusion during their studies.
The college is under the umbrella of Maulana Abdul Kalam University.
