For example, if we go and stay in Italy we may have to learn the Italian language as it will be essential for us to understand that language.
These days English has become the universal language and many of the people in this world learn English. So foreign languages which are having similarities with English may become easy for us to learn, I feel. In my opinion, the following languages are easy to learn for the people who are good at English.
But I am of the opinion that picking up an easy language is not very easy. One should select the language based on the necessity.
Author: Partha K. Post Date: 06 Nov 2023 As an Indian Bengali settled in Delhi, I find Urdu (spoken in Pakistan), Nepali (spoken in Nepal), and Bangla (spoken in Bangladesh) very easy to learn.
A Sindhi friend of mine said that she finds the Sindhi language (spoken in Sindh, Pakistan) is the easiest to learn. My Malayali friends say that the language of Maldives (Dhivehi) is very easy to learn. My Tamil friends opine that Sinhalese (spoken in Sri Lanka) is very easy to learn.

Spanish
Spanish is the easiest language for the persons who speak English. Spanish has phonetic pronunciation and a lot of resources available to learn Spanish. It is very easy to get mastery in Spanish.
Dutch
Dutch is a Germanic language and is similar to English. Hence it is also easy to learn for the English speakers. If you have fluency in English, it is easy for you to learn Dutch.
Italian
Italian is a unique language due to its melodic and musical nature. The grammar of the Italian language is easy which makes it easy to learn and understand.
Esperanto
If you are searching for a language that is not a traditional language then Esperanto is the best language to learn. It is designed to provide a very smooth way for beginners.
So, These four languages Spanish, Dutch, Italian, and Esperanto are the best and easiest if you want to learn a foreign language.
