By seeing the past history of both universities, one will understand that both are standard universities with an excellent track records. We can't say one is better than the other in all the fields. I feel Delhi University is the best for science subjects where as JNU is good for humanities and languages.

The best will be different for different subjects and areas. So a student should study the university record in the subject he/she is going to join and then take a decision.

For a student who wants to pursue Chemistry, I feel, the University of Delhi is a better option. Similarly, for some other subjects, JNU may be the best. So In my opinion first decide on the degree then study the track record of both the university for thst degree and then take a call.

Both Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) are prestigious institutions in India, and both offer quality higher education. It is difficult to say which one is better as it ultimately depends on the specific program, faculty, and individual preferences.

Delhi University is one of the oldest and most well-known universities in India, with a large number of colleges and departments offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university is known for its strong emphasis on research and has produced many successful alumni. Some of the popular courses offered by Delhi University include BCom, BSc, BA, and MA in various subjects.

Jawaharlal Nehru University, on the other hand, is a relatively younger university known for its academic rigor, interdisciplinary approach, and diverse student body. The university has a strong focus on social sciences and humanities and is known for its research in these fields. JNU offers courses in a range of disciplines, including social sciences, humanities, science, and engineering.

When it comes to the faculty, both universities have some of the best professors and researchers in the country. Delhi University has a larger faculty base as compared to JNU, but the latter has a higher proportion of PhD holders.

In terms of campus facilities, Delhi University has a larger campus with more infrastructure and resources, including libraries, sports facilities, and hostels. However, JNU has a more vibrant campus culture with a diverse student body, active student unions, and regular cultural events.

Ultimately, the choice between Delhi University and JNU depends on your individual interests and goals. It is important to research both institutions and the specific programs you are interested in, as well as factors such as campus culture, faculty expertise, and available resources before making a decision.
