The value addition to the candidature of a student with an MBA in marketing will depend on the Institute from which the degree is obtained. This is what I strongly believe. Just for the sake of doing a PG doing an MBA from a below-average or an average institute is of no use.

These days are days of competition. In every field, we see a lot of competition. So an MBA passed out or a PhD holder also should always be learning and updating his/her knowledge in the subject. I always say that it is a must for the sustainability of a candidate even in the same role.

I am of the opinion that the following certifications may be useful to a person with MBA in marketing.

1. Digital Marketing certificate: These are the days of digital technology and people are more dependent on digital technologies and sites to decide on their choices. So this certificate will definitely be a valuable addition to a marketing person. So I suggest that people go for a certification course in Digital Marketing.

2. Diploma in Retail Sales Management: It is very difficult to see that the new products will get penetrated the public mind. If the retail sales are not picking up sales of certain products may not progress well. So retail sales management is a very important topic.

3. Diploma in Market Research Analysis: This diploma will help the student to conduct market research about the products in demand and analysis such data. This will help them to take a decision in planning and executing their sales plan. This is a good course for MBA marketing persons, I feel.

The following are some of the best courses, in my opinion.

1. Certificate Course in Statistical Methods and Applications.
2. PG Diploma in Logistics and Retail Management.
3, PG Diploma in Logistics and Shipping.
4. PG Diploma in Material and Logistics Management).
5. PG Program in Supply Chain and Logistics

My research and personal experience lead me to believe that the ideal option for someone who has earned an MBA in Marketing and is considering studying abroad is a short-term course in digital marketing. The industry of digital marketing is one that is expanding quickly, and graduates with this knowledge and skill would be in high demand in the job market today.

In my personal case, I decided to take a quick course in digital marketing after earning my MBA in Marketing, and it turned out to be one of the best choices I've ever made. I was able to network with other industry experts from across the world while also learning useful skills in areas like social media marketing, search engine optimisation, and email marketing.

Digital marketing training programmes come in a range of formats, from intensive boot camps to more in-depth certificate programmes. While some courses may concentrate on certain topics like paid search advertising or content marketing, others may offer a more comprehensive overview of digital marketing as a whole.

The ideal path for you will ultimately depend on your unique career objectives and interests. Before choosing a choice, it's critical to conduct your homework and carefully weigh your options. But based on my personal experience, taking a quick course in digital marketing can be a fantastic approach to improve your abilities and create new prospects for your international career.
