Introduction
There are many agriculture colleges in Gujarat. But the best among those colleges in my opinion is Anand Agricultural University (AAU). This university was established in 2004 at Anand as a State University. The university was established to help the farming community in the State in the fields of education, research and extension activities in Agriculture, Horticulture Engineering, product Processing and Home Science. Presently there are seven Colleges, seventeen Research Centers and six Extension Education Institutes under this university. This university is doing extensive research in soil health, bio-diesel, medicinal plants, rice, maize, tobacco, vegetable crops, fruit crops, forage crops, animal breeding, nutrition dairy products etc.Anand Agricultural University(AAU) works towards empowering the farmers from rural areas of the state. The university works with an aim of developing skills required for the agriculture sector and strives to train the students in those skills.Courses Offered
