Gone are the days when you can complete your education and start your career. During the 1960s and 1970s, people used to go to high school and/or college and/or university, complete their studies and obtain the qualification. Then they started working. While working very rarely people used to go for quality improvement programmes. Only a selected few were doing that. But they are assured of their job and career by putting in years of experience.

But in the present day, the situation is completely different. Learn while you earn and earn while you learn concept has attained very good importance. Many employees are constantly trying to add on qualifications so that they will have better career options. In some of the fields getting updated with the latest developments in the field has become a necessity which will assure them continuity in their service.

Against this backdrop, the concepts of Virtual classrooms and experimental learning is attaining importance and in the coming days, they will become more popular. Going to school and college as per the set timings is very difficult for a working professional who wants to improve his qualifications. That is why in earlier days there was a concept of evening classes. But this facility is limited and only a few can get this opportunity. But the system of online classes and virtual classrooms made people manage their studies based on their time availability. A person can attend his/ her class from the house or even from a restaurant over a cup of coffee or even while travelling. So this virtual classroom concept is going to attain a lot of importance in the coming days.

These virtual classrooms will have some common features of a real classroom but are different in other ways. The following are the features of a virtual classroom.

1. Video conferencing

2. Digital whiteboards:

3. Instant messaging:

4. Participation controls:

5. Sub-chats:

6. Video recording:

7. End-to-end encryption

Simultaneously, the importance of experimental learning will also increase. Just reading a book and writing the examination and getting a certificate is not the end of education. Converting our knowledge as a skill to apply and solve real-life problems is very important. This will happen only through experimental learning.
Experimental learning will allow you to apply the concept you have learned in your work area. This experimental learning will make you a skilled person and will have demand from the industry as you are ready to work on the subject person and no additional training is required. Organisations need not spend on training people if they employ people having set skills that are required in their working area. In this competitive world definitely, employability will improve through this experimental learning.

The following are some of the advantages of this experimental learning.

1. It will allow us to learn real-world skills.

2. It will activate interest in learning as it is activity-based learning

3. The student will get connected with course content

4. Levels of confidence will enhance in the student as he does the work with his own hands

5. The communication skills of the student will improve.

Over the past few years, virtual classrooms and experiential learning have become increasingly popular. With the COVID-19 pandemic pushing much of traditional learning online, virtual classrooms have become the norm in many schools and universities around the world. Additionally, experiential learning has gained momentum as students are seeking more hands-on and engaging learning experiences.

As someone who has experienced both traditional and online learning, I can attest to the benefits of virtual classrooms. Online learning offers a level of flexibility that is not possible in traditional classrooms. I can learn at my own pace, choose when to study, and avoid the distractions that come with a physical classroom. Online learning also makes education more accessible to people who may not have access to traditional schools, such as those who live in remote areas or have disabilities.

Moreover, virtual classrooms offer a personalized learning experience. In a traditional classroom, teachers may struggle to cater to the individual needs of each student due to the large class sizes. However, online learning allows teachers to provide tailored content and assignments to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student. This approach can lead to better learning outcomes as students can focus on the areas where they need the most help.

Similarly, experiential learning has gained popularity among students as it offers a more engaging and effective way to learn. Experiential learning involves learning by doing, and it allows students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. By engaging in hands-on activities and projects, students can gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experiential learning can take many forms, such as internships, apprenticeships, and project-based learning. These experiences provide students with the opportunity to learn from professionals in their field of study and gain practical experience that can enhance their resumes and job prospects.

With the ongoing advancements in technology, I am optimistic that virtual classrooms and experiential learning will continue to evolve and become even more popular in the coming years. As more students opt for online learning, we can expect to see more sophisticated online learning platforms and tools that will enhance the virtual classroom experience. Additionally, as employers seek candidates with practical experience, experiential learning will become increasingly important in preparing students for the workforce.

In conclusion, I believe that virtual classrooms and experiential learning will become more popular in the future. These approaches to education offer many benefits, including flexibility, accessibility, personalized learning, and engaging experiences. As technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see more innovative and effective ways of delivering virtual and experiential learning, leading to better learning outcomes for students.
