About University The TN Dr.MGR Medical University is the second largest medical university located in South Chennai nearby to Guindy Railway Station and very close(6km) to National Airport. The university runs various Medical, para-medical and Allied health courses in various Govt. and affiliated colleges throughout Tamilnadu. The university celebrated its 27th convocation function on 30th April 2015.
Library The University library was started on 30th April 1990. There are lakhs of medical and paramedical books and question papers available for all students pursuing their education under the university. Membership form is available at the official website and fees for registration can be paid via online/offline mode. The library also maintains previous year project works of all students. The various journals published by PG students are also available. There is a separate self-study room, where most of the PG aspirants do group studies with their own materials. Some rooms are air-conditioned while others have good ventilation facility with a calm atmosphere.
