Admission to all PG courses related to basic science streams, as well as to M.PEd (Masters in Physical Education), as well as MCA lateral entry (to 2nd year) will be finalized through the candidate's performance in a university level entrance along with their marks in UG.

Admission to MBA & regular MCA courses will be filled through the candidate's performance in an entrance test, called TANCET.

Admission to B.PEd course will be based on candidate's performance in a university level entrance along with the marks they obtained for their graduation.

All other PG as well as UG admissions will be merit-based, depending on the marks obtained by the candidate for their UG as well as 12th or equivalent, respectively.

Bharathiar University is a leading University in Tamil Nadu, that has established pride of place among the State Universities.
