SRM University has campuses across India, at Chennai, NCR, Sonepat and one campus is upcoming at Amaravati. International students too enrol for some of the university programs & also visit the campus on study tours.
The university has a choice-based felixible credit system (CFCS) wherein aggregation of credits is done in flexible ways and students can earn credits through industry modules, international competions, etc. Some of the programs of SRM University offer dual degrees and there are also Twinning programs with international universities. A few of the programs give the students the opportunity to study one semester abroad through SRM sponsorship under the Student Abroad and Transfer Program (SATP). Placement of graduating students has been good, with prime offers from reputed companies like TCS, Siemens, Honda, Amazon, CISCO, Goldman Sachs, etc.
Students can avail of on-the-spot bank educational loans' sanction during the counselling sessions which are held after admission has been approved. A fee waiver of 50% is given to students who score above 95% in CBSE or in State Board exams. Students who top state exams, SRMEEE, JEE and AIEEE ranking students, sports persons and those from lower socio-economic families can apply for the Founder's Scholarship, which entails a full waiver on tuition, books, fees of hostels and mess and includes a stipend of Rs.1,000 per month.
SRM University Kattankulathur campus infrastructure and facilities The campus is home to SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Center and SRM Hostel.
The 250 acres campus has a 3-star hotel with swimming pool & banquet halls, a central library, an air-conditioned auditorium, smart classrooms and lecture halls, multiple canteens, shopping outlets, ATM facility, a post office, etc. Sports facilities are provided for volleyball, tennis, basketballs, badminton, table tennis, etc. There is also a gym and indoor games facilities.
