Gujarat Technological University, established in 2007 in Ahmedabad, is a coeducational higher education institution in India that provides quality education, training, employment, and research facilities to the students. The university campus is located in the village Lekavada, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This academic institution is NBA and NAAC-accredited. Gujarat Technological University(GTU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs. There are a total of 486 colleges affiliated with this University. GTU gives more emphasis to the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy, and Computer Science.

Undergraduate-level courses include Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech), Bachelor of Architecture(B.Arch), Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan), Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT), and Bachelor of Pharmacy(B.Pharm).

Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Masters of Tourism Management (MTM), Master of Business Administration(MBA), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) are the postgraduate courses.

In Gujarat Technological University, admission is given on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Scores of JEE(Main), NEET, GATE, and GPAT are also given value during admission.

Students seeking admission to the B.Tech program should appear for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) or JEE Main Examination. Admission is based on the scores obtained in these examinations.

Admission to Pharmacy courses is based on the score obtained in the NEET/GUJCET examination.

Admission to B.Arch courses is based on the score in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
