Symbiosis International deemed university conducts 4 entrance tests for its undergraduate courses, namely General admission test (for undergraduate programs in computer science, management, economics, mass communication, liberal arts, and culinary), Law admission test (for BBA LLB / BA LLB program from symbiosis law schools), Engineering admission test (for B.Tech courses), Design admission test (for B.Des course). For bachelors courses in photography, nursing, and paramedical courses like radiotherapy, there are no entrance tests. Candidates can do online registration for SET by paying the fee through the offline method and submitting its details online.

Admission to Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), one of the leading B-Schools in India will be through an admission test known as SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test), an online test conducted in four sections - verbal ability, quantitative ability, logical reasoning and current affairs. Online registrations are enabled through snaptest website, with a test-fee payment via demand draft. Candidates selected through SNAP will have GD and PI sessions to finalise their MBA admissions. Online registration will be there for SNAP and will be conducted in selected cities. As per SNAP scores, candidates will be shortlisted for GD and PI. After GD and PI MBA admissions will be finalised.
