Objectives : The major objectives of the new university are the following
This university impart education in different branches of veterinary, animal sciences, fishery sciences and allied sciences.
University will take steps to further advancement in learning and research in Veterinary, animal sciences, fishery sciences and other allied sciences and to undertake extension of such specialized knowledge to the needy people.
LLRUVAS undertake study in marketing strategies of live-stock and live-stock products, conservation of live-stock breeds and wild animals.
University will liaise and establish vital linkage with the concerned departments of Animal Husbandry. Fisheries and Dairy Development of the State Government and Union Government, National and International Research Institutes specialized in the field of Veterinary, animal sciences, fishery sciences and allied sciences with a view to keep abreast of the latest technology.
