Chaudhary Devi Lal University located in Sirsa in the state of Haryana is one of the top universities in India offering a wide range of postgraduate courses in science, arts, commerce, and law. The university is named after the late Jan Naik Chaudhary Devi Lal, former Deputy Prime Minister of Haryana. This is a UGC-recognised institution established in 2003. About 60 colleges are affiliated with the university. Located at Sirsa, 256 km from Delhi and 285 km from Chandigarh, the university has a sprawling campus of 348 acres on Barnala Road.
