Located at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology (BUEST) popularly known as Baddi University, is one of the best private universities in India. It was established in 2002 by the name of the Institute of Engineering and Emerging Technologies. This educational institution was recognized as a university in the year 2009.

School of Engineering & Emerging Technologies (SEET), School of Management Studies (SMS), School of Sciences (SOS), School of Pharmacy and Emerging Sciences (SPES), School of Agricultural Sciences (SOAS), BUEST Nursing College, School of Medical Sciences and so on are the major institutions under the university.

Facilities at BUEST

The campus of the university is spread over 40 acres of beautiful slopes between the Shivalik Hills in Buddy in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The university has remarkable infrastructure facilities to create a good learning environment. Separate hostels for boys and girls are built with all the basic amenities.The girls' hostel is located within the campus, constructed with special arrangements for safety and privacy. The girls' hostel has facilities for indoor games. The boys' hostel is outside but near to the campus and has facilities for outdoor games like badminton, volleyball, and cricket. There is a vast library in this university, and a huge collection of books and periodicals can be found in this library.

The University has an active training and placement cell which works towards providing good career opportunities for students. This cell provides Soft- Skill Training, Behavioral Training, Corporate- Culture Training, Aptitude Training (Quantitative/DI/ Reasoning) training programs regularly to the students to develop their intellectual skills.

The institute aims to ensure that 100% of the students get jobs through campus placement. Every year, leading corporate companies visit the university and recruit a large number of students for high-paying jobs through campus recruitments. For the past several years, the University has been functioning as a nodal center for recruitment for the Indian Navy and Indian Army.

Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies provides educational loan facilities to students. The University has established a relationship with the Punjab National Bank to provide education loans to students.

Baddi University offers various merit scholarships to students. Newly admitted students are given a waiver of tuition fees for the first year of study based on their ranks in the respective entrance examinations. Students are rewarded according to their marks scored in university exams in subsequent years as well.

Academics

This university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, research-level, and diploma courses in streams such as engineering, science, management, nursing, pharmacy, agriculture, and many more. In this institution, there are about 200 highly qualified and experienced faculty members including doctoral degree holders from reputed Indian and international institutes.

The admission process at Baddi University usually begins in March every year and the new session classes start in August.

Admission

Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies, offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Pharm, MBA, BCA, BBA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Pharm, BHM, PharmD, BPT, B.Ed, and Ph.D. programs in various specializations.

Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication are the five specializations in the B.Tech program. Admission to the B.Tech course will be done based on the scores in the JEE Main or the entrance examination conducted by this university.

Computer Science and Engineering, Structural Engineering, Production Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, Electronics and Communication Merit Engineering, Robotics and Automation are the various specializations in the M.Tech Program. Students seeking admission to M.Tech programs must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Admission to M.Tech courses is done on the basis of GATE Score.

Buddy University offers two-year full-time MBA courses in various disciplines. Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Development, Pharmaceutical Management, Real Estate Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Retail Management are the MBA specializations. MBA admission is based on the scores in CAT/ AIMAT/ HP CMAT.
