All India Institute of Medical Sciences is the best medical sciences university in India. It is located in New Delhi, the heart of India. It was established by an Act of Parliament for developing medical education in India. AIIMS was formed by keeping the vision of bringing up all the highest medical education facilities to the students. It has world class facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. All India Institute of Medical Sciences offers M.B.B.S. programme for only 50 students out of which, 7 seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes, 4 (four) seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes and 5 (five) seats are reserved for the Foreign Nationals nominated by the Government of India. The remaining seats are filled up based on the performance in the entrance examination. All India Institute of Medical Sciences have B.B Dikshit Library which do have a whooping 71844 books, 66825 bound journals, 5309 thesis and 17034 pamphlets. This Hi-tech library uses the bar code technology for issuing and returning the books. The library is opened round the clock on all days. Wi-Fi internet facility is also there by which students can access e-journals/e-books in the library. All animals like rats, mice, rabbits, pigs and sheep are available for experimenting purpose.

All India Institute of medical Sciences (AIIMS) has the world class biomedical equipments in its Central Workshop to train the students. It have Electron Microscope laboratory for conducting ultrastructural investigations. AIIMS do have National poisons Information Centre (NPIC) which works round the clock during 365 days and provides information through telephone, fax, e-mail and in person regarding various poisonings. All India Institution of Medical Sciences entrance exam is conducted in the month of June every year. A very tough competition will be there for the ace university entrance test. All India Institution of Medical Sciences entrance exam results are declared in the month of July which decides the fate of aspirants. There are numerous other world class facilities at AIIMS. AIIMS admissions 2019

AIIMS entrance are through AIIMS entrance, an all India level yearly entrance exam. AIIMS Nursing courses also has a seperate national level entrance exam, AIIMS Nursing. AIIMS PG entrance exam are done through a similar, all India level PG entrance exam where 1% of the appearing candidates qualify for admissions.
