J.S University Admissions

J.S University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma courses, and doctoral courses in the subjects of fundamental sciences, arts, sciences, commerce, agriculture, education, management, hotel management, engineering, law, paramedical sciences, and library sciences.

Students are admitted to the courses of this university on the basis of their marks or grades obtained in the final qualifying examination. In addition, the merit of the entrance examination conducted by J.S University will also be considered for the final selection.

For undergraduate courses admission in J.S University, students need to pass in 10+2 examinations in the relevant stream and score a minimum of 50% marks. For B.Tech courses, the university offers direct admission without any entrance examination. For this, students need to pass 10+2 in maths and physics with a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied chemistry or computer science or biology as one of the subjects in 10+2. For admission to B.Tech through lateral entry, one needs to pass a three-year Polytechnic diploma course in Engineering or Technology of Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. In addition, those who have a degree in B.Sc Mathematics can also take admission in B.Tech through lateral entry.

Master of Business Administration(MBA), Master of Computer Applications(MCA), Master of Science(M.Sc), Master of Social Work(MSW), Master of Journalism and Mass Communication(MJMC), Master of Education(M.Ed), Master of Technology(M.Tech), etc are the main postgraduate degrees awarded by JS University. Students seeking postgraduate degree admission to JS University should have passed a degree exam in the relevant discipline from any recognized university. Students who have scored 50% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in the concerned subject only are eligible for admission, and admission to postgraduate courses is purely based on merit. Students are selected on the basis of their marks in the J.S University Eligibility Test and their marks in the degree examination.

J.S University also offers degrees in M.Phil and Ph.D. in diverse disciplines. The minimum educational qualification for M.Phil and Ph.D admission is a master's degree in the concerned subject with 55% marks in aggregate. The Doctoral Research Committee of JS University conducts an entrance examination every year called JSU Entrance Test. The students who seek admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. courses must undergo this entrance test. Eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final selection to M.Phil and Ph.D. research programs will then be made based on the scores in JSU Entrance Test and performance in the personal interview.

In addition to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs J.S university also provides various diploma courses. Diploma In Fire & Safety Management, Diploma In Veterinary & Livestock Development Assistant, Diploma in Health Sanitary Inspector, Diploma In Animal Health Worker, DCA, PGDCA, Diploma in Library Science, Diploma in Education are the main diploma courses offered by the university.

Students can take admission to courses at J.S University online or offline. Students interested in taking admission online can visit the university website and apply for the course of interest. Otherwise, applicants can submit the filled-in application forms directly to the university office. The application form is enclosed in the prospectus. While submitting the application form students need to pay the application fee fixed by the university for the relevant course.
