Birla Institute of Technology, Merza (BIT Merza) is a private institute offering undergraduate, as well as postgraduate in engineering, architecture, management, hospitality, pharmacy, as well as computer application. BIT Merza also has a polytechnic institute located in the BIT Merza main campus, offering Diploma courses as well as B.Sc(Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)) aiming to produce skilled and employable youth.

B.Tech / B.Arch admissions are open for candidates with good performance in JEE mains. Other seats like NRI will be filled as per the marks obtained in qualifying examination, like 12th or equivalent.

B.Arch admissions can also be based on NATA.

M.Arch / M.Tech / MUP (Master of Urban Planning) admissions are open for candidates with valid GATE scores. Non-GATE candidates have to undergo an entrance test coupled with a screening based on their B.Arch/B.Tech scores.

B.Pharm admissions can be based on NEET-UG.

M.Pharm admissions will be based on GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test). For non-GPAT candidates, admission will be based on entrance test coupled with a screening based based on the marks for their B.Pharm.

B.Sc / M.Sc in Animation : based on the entrance test conducted by BIT.

M.Sc (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geo-Informatics) : based on the marks in graduation.

Integrated 5 years M.Sc : based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam, like 12th or equivalent.

BHMCT : Based on the test and interview conducted by BIT.

BBA / BCA : Based on marks obtained in 12th or equivalent.

MBA : Based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT percentile as well as GD & PI scores.

PhD : Candidates without JRF / equivalent has to undergo test, interview and a screening based on post graduation marks by BIT.
