Course & Admission details, Lalit Narayan Mithila University

UG, PG, as well as Doctoral degrees have been offered in various streams of Arts, Commerce & Business Management, Library Science, Sciences, Engineering, as well as Medical Science through various schools and departments.

i) Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women's Institute of Technology : B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Bioinformatics, as well as MCA (Master of Computer Application).

Admission to B.Tech and MCA courses will be granted to women candidates who have completed their 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, based on their performance in an entrance test conducted by LNMU, Combined Admission Test.

ii) Department of Commerce & Business Administration : MBA.

Admission will be based on MAT/ CMAT scores of the candidates.

iii) Institute of Foreign Languages : Diploma as well as Certificate programs in German, Spanish, Korean, French, Chinese, Japanese & Arabic.

iv) Department of Bio-Technology : Interdisciplinary course and gives admission to those students coming from Botany, Zoology, Industrial Microbiology, Biotechnology & Chemistry.

v) Institute of Library & Information Science : BLIS, MLIS.

vi) Institute of Gerontology & Geriatrics : PG Diploma in Geriatric Care for those with Masters in Gerontology, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Neuroscience, Psychology, Anthropology, and Home Science. Certificate Course in Gerontechnology for those who have completed a UG.

Apart from this, the university also conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for its B.Ed courses.
