Gujarat Vidyapith is a public university founded by Mahathma Gandhi, who is the life-long chancellor of this university and located at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The university has an integrated education system starting from nursery to doctorate level, based on the principles of truth & non-violence, productivity along with dignity of labor, as well as religious equality. 1) Colleges : Mahadev Desai Samajseva Mahavidyalaya (Mahadev Desai College of Social Work, located at Ahmedabad and Sadra) offers various courses including Journalism & Mass Communication, Computer Application, Rural Economics, etc.

Mahadev Desai Gramaseva Mahavidyalaya (Mahadev Desai College of Social Work located at Randheja).

Mahadev Desai Shareer Shikshan Mahavidyala (Mahadev Desai College of Physical Education).

Shikshan Mahavidyalay (Education Department).

Hindi Teachers Training College (Hindi Shikshak Mahavidyalay).
