Formerly known as Chhatrapathi Sahuji Medical University, U.P. King George's University of Dental Science is a medical university located at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was established after upgrading King George Medical College to U.P. King George's University of Dental Science.

The university offers medical and related courses through its various faculties. These faculties are,
1) Faculty of Medical Sciences : These are the departments coming under this faculty.

2) Faculty of Dental Sciences : Departments coming under this faculty are, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Oral Pathology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paediatric & Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, and Public Health Dentistry.

3) Institute of Paramedical Sciences : Offers various Diploma courses in Blood Transfusion Technician, Cardiology Technician, CT Scan Technician, Dialysis Technician, Emergency & Trauma Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, MRI Technician, Optometry, Operation Theater (O.T.) Technician, Physiotherapy, Radiotherapy Technician, Sanitation, and X-Ray Technician.

4) Institute of Nursing : Offers courses in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), B.Sc as well as M.Sc in Nursing. Also offers IGNOU's bridge certificate program in Community Health for Nurses.

Admission details, U.P. King George's University of Dental Science

Admission to MBBS, MD, MS, BDS, MDS will be through NEET (UG as well as PG), as per the UP state NEET counseling (UPNEET).

PG Diploma in various Medical Specialties are open to MBBS graduates and admission will be done on the basis of UP PG Medical Entrance Exam (UP PGMEE) or All India PG Medical Entrance Examination conducted by DGHS.

B.Sc Nursing admission will be through an entrance examination conducted by U.P. King George's University of Dental Science.

The university offers Master of Health Administration courses.
