Admission to all the undergraduate, and postgraduate courses can either be based on the merit based on qualifying examination, i.e. 12th /equivalent, and degree, respectively; or also be based on the candidate's performance on MGU CAT (MG University Common Admission Test).
MG University 2019 Admission Details

Doctoral / PhD admissions will be based on a Written Admission Test (WAT) conducted by the university's respective department. However, candidates with valid NET/JRF scores doesn't need this entrance test.
