National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore is the first national law university in India offering five year integrated undergraduate law degrees. NLU focuses on undergraduate as well as postgraduate education in law and policies.

Courses offered are:
1. Undergraduate, five year integrated B.A./LLB - Qualifying students can sit for the bar to practice law in India.

2. Postgraduate, LLM - One year postgraduate law degree.

3. Research courses, M.Phil, L.L.D (Legum Doctor, the doctorate level academic law degree, PhD

4. Other courses - MPP (Master of Public Policy), a two year six trimester full-time course.
Distance courses are also offered in business law (MBL - Master of Business Law) as well as postgraduate diploma in various other fields.

Admission to the flagship integrated five year undergraduate courses are through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), an entrance test mainly for the admission to 21 National Law Universities in India.

Admission to MPP : Through an entrance test called 'Policy Aptitude Test' conducted by NLSIU.
