Popularly known as IIITM Gwalior (Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management, Gwalior), Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM Gwalior) is a public University located at Gwalior, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. and counted among Institute of National Importance (INI).

Course details, IIITM Gwalior

IIITM Gwalior offers the following courses :
PG (M.Sc) in Cyber Security, Machine Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Geospatial Analysis.

M.Phil (in Computer Science, as well as in Ecological Informatics).

Doctoral degrees(PhD) in the areas of Intelligent Signals for Medical Imaging, Compressed Sensing, Computer Simulation & Modelling for Imaging Applications, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Cryptography, Biometrics, Digital Watermarking, Cyber Forensics, Visual Surveillance, Geo Informatics, Ecological Informatics, and Remote Sensing.

PG Diploma, and various short courses in areas like Programming (Phython), Data Analytics & Machine Learning using R, Manual Testing, etc.

Admission details, IIITM Gwalior

Admissions will be through an entrance conducted by IIITM Gwalior, but candidates with valid GATE/NET scores or those who have opted Mathematics for their qualification degree as well as comes under the top 10% CAT (Common Admission Test) by CUSAT will be exempted from taking IITM Gwalior entrance test.

PhD admissions will be open for PG holders with a CGPA score of at least 6 our of 10 or 55%. Admissions will be based on a departmental admission test conducted at IIITM Gwalior.
But candidates who qualifies one of the below mentioned conditions are exempted from this admission test:

i) Those who have valid National / Kerala state or any research fellowships /equivalent from any institutions recognized by IIITM Gwalior.
i.e. Candidates wo have qualified NET or JRF/ICAR/GATE/KSCSTE (Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment/CSIR/NBHM/ICSSR.

ii) Who holds M.Phil in a related area from a University which is recognized by IIITM Gwalior.

iii) Overseas students with Govt. of India's scholarship to do PhD in India.

iv) Faculties from Govt./Aided/Quasi Govt. Institutions/other University or Institutions recognized by CUSAT or those who have been working in Scientist-ranks for at least 5 years at National Level Research Laboratories.
