Mohanlal Sukhadia University is located in the beautiful terrain of Udaipur, in the Aravalli hill region, and the city is a world-famous tourist destination in southern Rajasthan, India. It was earlier know as Udaipur University. Established in 1962, the university has continuously strived for excellence in teaching, research, and community service. It has been approved by AICTE, UGC, NAAC, PCI, and BCI. This university was accredited with an "A" Grade by NAAC Bengaluru, with a CGPA of 3.11. The main objective of the University is to strive for excellence in higher education to create a just, diverse and egalitarian society in accordance with constitutional ideals. A large number of students from various states of India and abroad study at this university, as it provides financial aid, scholarships, and relaxation in qualifications to socially disadvantaged students. The Women's Study Center and Population Research Center is under the sponsorship of UGC and with the help of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with emphasis on women empowerment, gender equality, and child development are of great benefit to the students.

The campus of Mohanlal Sukhadia University spans 607 acres of land. This University consists of four constituent colleges and around 190 affiliated colleges in the districts of Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Sirohi, and Rajsamand. UG admissions as well as PG admissions will be based on the candidate's marks obtained for their 12th or equivalent as well as degree, respectively.

Admission to PhD programs will be based on a Research Admission Test (RET) conducted by Mohanlal Sukhadia University.

Admissions to MCA as well as MBA courses are under the control of Rajasthan Technical University ( Check out RTU website for more details ). MCA admissions are finalized through Rajashtan MCA Admission Test (RMCAAT), which is open to candidates who have finished their graduation in specified areas of study. MBA admissions will be through Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), which is open to candidates who have completed their degrees.
