Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (or simply North Maharashtra University), was formed in 1990 from University of Pune. This university is located at Jalgaon, near to national highway in a 600+ acre campus with massive forestation, in a hilly area. The university has several constituent colleges, satellite campuses, as well as research institutes and centers under it & offers UG, PG, and doctoral courses. University has got excellent infrastructure which includes its massive library.

For admission to its various PG courses, the university conducts CAP (Common Admission Process), which is a spot-admission-process for which candidates will be shortlisted based on their respective qualification.

For courses MBA, and MCA, candidates are selected on the basis of MH MBA CET as well as MH MCA CET (Maharashtra MBA as well as MCA Common Entrance Tests). Vacant MBA seats will be filled through CAP.
