Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences offers a variety of courses in the fields of medicine, dental, engineering, pharmacy, nursing, management, law, liberal arts & sciences, related health sciences, physiotherapy, architecture, and design.

The University offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses for students who want to pursue their careers in the field of engineering. Medical courses like MBBS and BDS and BAMS courses for qualified students in the field of Ayurveda are also available here. In addition to these courses, many other courses like Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), B.Sc Optometry, BSc Nursing are offered here. There are two courses in the law department, B.A. B.L (Honours), B.B.A. B.L (Honours).

Master of Dental Surgery(MDS), Master of Technology(M.Tech) ,M.Sc Nursing, Master of Business Administration(MBA ), M.Sc (Faculty of Medicine), Integrated M.Sc (Medical with Ph.D.) are the main postgraduate courses.

University also offers Ph.D. and fellowship courses in medical sciences. The Ph.D. course is offered under five major specializations namely Medical, Dental, Nursing, Engineering, and Physiotherapy. Offers fellowship courses in Allergy, Clinical Immunology, Aesthetic Dentistry, and Implantology.

Admission to Medicine and Dental Surgery is done through NEET.

Engineering course admission for B.Tech and M.Tech courses is done through TANCET or CET conducted by Anna University, Chennai.

Admission to management courses is done through MAT/CMAT/CET.

Admission in Law courses is done through Saveetha University Law Entrance Examination/CLAT/LSAT

Admission in B.Sc and B.PT is done on the basis of marks obtained at 10+2 level.
