About Film and Television Institute of India
The institute was established way back in 1960. Many eminent personalities of our film industry and Theater groups are the alumni of this institute. Following courses are on the offer by the institute :
1. Directoin
2. Acting
3. Cinematography
4. Art Direction and Production Design
5. Audiography
6. Animation and Computer Graphics
7. Editing
8. Feature Film Screenplay Writing
9. Film Appreciation
Short Courses courses in basic and advanced videography, non-linear editing, multi-media applications in TV production, documentary production, art direction, make-up, 2D and 3D computer graphics, virtual sets and television productions, TV research methods and strategic television management are also conducted by the institute.
The institute offers a limited number of schlorships to deserving students in the three year Diploma courses in Film and Television and One Year Certificate Course in Television.
Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls.
