The University Business School (UBS), Chandigarh is one of the leading business schools in Northern India. Started in 1995, the institute is affiliated to Panjab University. UBS has recently released the notice for admission to various management courses for the session 2021-22. The courses include Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA in International Business, MBA in Human Resource and MBA in Entrepreneurship. The number of seats available for the MBA course is 64, for MBA (International Business) is 30, for MBA (HR) is 30 and for MBA (Entrepreneurship) it is 25. The mode of application for the UBS MBA admissions 2021 is online. However, the completed application form along with the required documents have to be submitted to the address mentioned in the application form. The steps involved in the application process are as follows:Selection procedure
Based on the CAT scores, candidates will first be shortlisted and invited to attend the GD (Group Discussion) and the interview. The GD and the Interview will be conducted on the UBS campus at Chandigarh. The schedule for the GD and the Interview will be posted on the UBS admission website and will also be communicated to the selected students through email. After all the stages are completed, the final selection will be done by taking the scores of the CAT exam (85% weightage), the GD (7.5% weightage), and the Interview (7.5% weightage). If there is a tie in the score between two candidates, then the marks in the preceding qualifying exam and the age of the candidate will be taken into consideration to determine the selected candidate.
